Iconic underwear and leisurewear brand, Bonds celebrated their milestone of turning 100 at a lunchtime event held at the beautiful Cafe Sydney. With sweeping views of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House, it was a fitting location for this Australian iconic brand.
Ambassadors Pat Rafter and Iggy Azalea attended with Hamish & Andy hosting the event. Archival images of the Bonds’ first campaign were on display, from Cotton Tails, Chesty Bonds to the latest campaign with the pop star sensation were on display, illustrating how far this iconic brand has come from it’s early days.
Iggy Azalea, who has returned to Australia for the first time since 2013 had to say this about returning to Australian shores in a statement.
“It’s such a special moment for me be back home for the BONDS’ 100th Birthday. I grew up loving BONDS girls and to be one of them now is really cool. Sydney is showing off with the incredible weather and the beautiful view of the Opera House. I’m having a ‘pinch myself moment’. Tomorrow, I’ll be heading out to Westfield Miranda to meet my fans. It’s great to be home”, says Iggy Azalea.
Tomorrow, Iggy will be making her only public appearance at Miranda Westfield on August 20th between 5pm-6pm. The event will be hosted by TV personality Darren McMullen.
