Queen of animal prints, Charlie Brown has recently launched her spring/summer collection with a completely new direction and a fresh look.
Targeting a much younger crowd, the fashion designer has teamed up with blogger Zanita Morgan to launch the collection to a target market of 20- 25 year olds.
In keeping with the times, the company also announced their plans to launch the collection mainly through digital & social media.
“We wanted to go in a new direction this season, cater the launch and collateral of the collection to an entirely new market,” says Charlie Brown.
“What better way to do that than through our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts – where all these women already are.”
Speaking exclusively to Fashion Initiative, the colourful designer described the inspiration for the collection as ” Conflict and collision”.
The collection has a fresh modern look with bold colours and sleek silhouettes. However despite the new look, the company is smart and savvy enough to still cater for the existing customer, ensuring they don’t walk away from their famed signature animal prints.
