29th October 2015 | Three of Australia’s leading fashion greats, Leona Edmiston, Gary Theodore (Scanlan Theodore) & ex-retailer of 30 years, Robby Ingham (Robby Ingham Stores) were honoured by being presented with their personalised plaques which will be laid at The Australian Walk of Style at The Intersection, Paddington. (Cnr Glenmore Road & Oxford Street).
In a notoriously difficult industry, The Intersection’s founder & property developer – Theo Onisforou recognised a need for industry people to be honoured for their longevity and success in the fashion industry in Australia.
The celebration of the induction of the trio into the Australian Walk of Style was held at a very chic exclusive event hosted by The Intersection and Australian fashion industry body, Australian Fashion Chamber.
The Intersection Paddington consists of Australian fashion labels and is a small precinct in the heart of Sydney’s eastern suburb, Paddington.
Theo Onisforou generously opened his home in Elizabeth Bay and provided a wonderful evening for some of the most established and esteemed fashion players in the Australian fashion industry. Guests mingled amongst a sea of beautiful floral display and enjoyed fine wines, champagne and delicious canapes.
During 2012, the first five recipients of such recognition on The Walk of Style included: R.M. Williams, Mark Keighery (Marc’s), Sass and Bide, Akira Isogawa and Collette Dinnigan.
