Sydney fashion label, Rodeo Show has just released their Day Dreamers Spring /Summer 13/14 collection with a strong visual campaign shot by Steven Chee and styled by Marina Didovich. The collection hints at a strong and feminine mix with their signature bohemian look but with a modern edge.
The label is lucky to have the best of both worlds with six retail shops of their own and a strong wholesale base, with value for money price points without compromising on fabrications.
We sat down with very savvy and experienced Lisa Moore to find out how what the key is to success with her label.
What was your inspiration behind the label?
Rodeo Show aims to be “designer for the commercial market” – we cater for all the social needs of the young busy professional girls by providing beautiful and high quality fashion. Our focus has always remained the same – making fashion fun, easy and accessible for everyone.
What has been the key to the expansion of the label in this challenging retail climate?
The key to our expansion is to thoroughly understand who our customers are, what her needs are and what she values. On the other side of the business the other important key to our expansion is have the right amount of stock in the business – having too much or too little stock could lead to disaster. Having a good and clear understanding of numbers is super important in running a fashion label.
What do you anticipate will the be strongest sellers for the Day Dreamers Summer 2013 collection?
Our prints have always been our signature – the Lantana and Bellflower story I think will be amazing. The Eliza, Floretta and Emily dresses are my faves from the collection so I hope they will be our best sellers too!
