Iconic Parisian Lingerie company, Simone Pérèle has teamed up with leading fashion stylist Romy Freydman, to celebrate the brands 65th Anniversary launching a vintage corsetry magazine in Australia over lunch at the chic french restaurant, Ananas. The lunch was hosted in conjunction with leading department store David Jones, which is one of the brands flagship stockist in Australia.
The ‘Corsetry Retrospective’ magazine is set for publication in August, in line with the delivery of Simone Pérèle’s new Fall/Winter 13 collection in David Jones and will be gifted to Simone Pérèle customers.
The event included media, sponsors and VIP’s, including General Manager for Womenswear, Sophie Clark, Miranda Otto, Bianca Spender and the ever so elegant Australian iconic fashion designer Carla Zampatti.
It was a fun day had by all with a delicious French grazing menu, washed down with the delicious esteemed French Champagne, from the house of GH Mumm.
The corsetry maker, Simone Pérèle founded her famed company in Paris over 65 years ago. And has certainly stood the test of time in luxury. The brand has innovated past corsetry and is known for their luxury lingerie at an affordable price point, and is stocked in leading department stores and independent lingerie shops all over the world, with David Jones one of the major flagship department stores for the brand in Australia.
