Founded by Rebecca Powell in Sydney in 2006, luxury basics label Tluxe is planning to launch their first flagship retail boutique in the trendy retail spot, The Intersection in Sydney.
Tluxe has been an established wholesale label and heading into bricks and mortar retail is a first for the brand. They will be joining other esteemed players at The Intersection such as Willow, Scanlan Theodore, Jac & Jack and a bevvy of other luxury players.
Deriving its name from a fusion of the words deluxe and tee, the brand reflects the relaxed Australian culture through basics and showcasing luxe collections designed for stylish layering and refined comfort.
Keeping the fit out of the store complementary to the brand is also important to the founder.
“Our store will be very natural to compliment the ethos of the brand; we are working with upcycled materials, natural fibres and renovating old furniture pieces to create a space that is representative of the brand aesthetic,” Ms Powell said.
Tluxe’s simple style ethos and ethical philosophy has cemented the label with a loyal fan base Australia-wide including celebrities Cate Blanchett, Miranda Kerr, Jennifer Hawkins, Delta Goodrem and Jessica Mauboy.
The Tluxe flagship will open in August with their collections also available via the e- boutique as well as through selected stockists nationally.
