Academy Award nominee actress, Uma Thurman has just been announced as the face of Campari Calendar for 2014. The classic beauty joins former celebrity actresses to grace the iconic calendar.
The Campari Calendar is one of the world’s iconic artistic calendars. Distributed in international limited edition of only 9,999 copies it is a small, collectible luxury for the happy few that receive it, highlighting the work of the talents of photographers behind them.
This years calendar is shot by fashion photographer, Koto Bolofo. Bolofo has shot for a number of high-profile publications including Vogue, Vanity Fair and GQ, and has created advertising campaigns for luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton and Dior.
The 2014 is titled, ‘Worldwide Celebrations’, with each month focusing on a unique festival from a number of different cultures around the world. Through this intriguing new theme, Campari intends to highlight how cultures around the world have become more global than ever before, and reinterprets each celebration through its spirit made of passion, style and charisma.
The calendars in the past have summed up the brand ethos of glamour coinciding with the drinks ethos of a mix of contemporary and classic. The classic italian spirit has always been a a secret recipe, but has an infusion of bitter herbs, aromatic plants and fruit in alcohol and water. Mixed quite often with Soda, the drink is also delicious with ruby red grapefruit juice.
Former faces for the Campari Calendar have included, Penelope Cruz, Salma Hayek, Eva Mendes, Jessica Alba, Milla Jovovich.
